The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County - Norwood Branch
Library service in the Village of Norwood began in 1898, when the Cincinnati and Hamilton County library system established a book delivery station in a drugstore. The current building, completed in 1907, was built with funds donated by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation. The Italian Renaissance style structure features two Rookwood urns near the front entrance and two Clement Barnhorn bas reliefs. In 2001, a number of improvements were made to the existing facility, including the restoration of some of the building’s original architectural elements and the purchase of new furniture, shelving, carpeting, lighting and computer equipment.

The Wasson Way is a bike and pedestrian trail that will stretch over 7 miles from Victory Parkway to the Little Miami Bike Trail in Newtown. It will give 100,000 people, living within one mile of the trail, access to a network of over 100 miles of bike and pedestrian trails. Currently, phase one of the project has been completed. This section runs from Tamarack Avenue near Dana Avenue in Norwood to Madison Road, near La Rosa's and Busken Bakery in Hyde Park. While a short section, it connects to the City of Norwood, Withrow High School, and Rookwood Commons & Pavilion shopping areas.
